Manpower in the Community

Equality of opportunity and fairness to all

Manpower ruler

Manpower believes that effective labour market policies are essential for the economic and social welfare of Australia. To this end, Manpower is actively engaged in a series of community initiatives with the core intention of providing opportunities to work for those that want to.

Our approach to delivering this social programme is integral to our daily business and core expertise. It grows directly out of our relationships with a range of organisations, public and private, clients and trade unions.

Manpower is working widely to develop opportunities for disadvantaged groups. Our goal is to break down barriers to access the labour market.

Manpower is always actively looking at ways to work with Government bodies in supporting diversity within the workplace.

Manpower believes in the power of partnership - our experience is that the best outcomes derive from two or more organisations identifying common goals and working together in an integrated and flexible way to deliver those objectives.

Manpower is a pathway to Charter Member of Employers Making a Difference (EMAD), the Australian Employers' Network on Disability.  Manpower works proactively with EMAD in identifying opportunities for the inclusion of people with a disability in employment.

Through this relationship we aim to develop partnerships with businesses and aim to play a positive role in the communities in which we operate. Locally, nationally and globally.

Manpower's community involvement aims to contribute and encourage the practice of corporate leadership locally.
